Salary negotiable within the Federal Award with a range of $60,000 – 80,000 plus superannuation
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure the preparation of dishes is of a high standard and aligns with Venice’ creative flair
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, following health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Must Have
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as a cook
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and hygiene practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure during busy service periods
- Passion for food, creativity in cooking, and a keen eye for detail
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
