We are currently seeking motivated and guest-focused Front of House team members to join us on a casual basis, with genuine opportunities to progress into a more permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, professional, and attentive customer service throughout the full guest dining experience.
- Greet, seat, and serve guests in a courteous and efficient manner that reflects Venice’s hospitality values.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests or dietary requirements clearly to the kitchen.
- Handle payments, bookings, phone enquiries, and table management effectively.
- Prepare and serve coffee to a high standard – barista skills are essential.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming front-of-house environment throughout service.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely, accurate, and seamless order delivery.
- Contribute to the smooth running of daily operations, including set-up and pack-down.
Qualification and Requirements
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in a Front of House role in a hospitality environment – this is a must!
- Demonstrated barista skills – this is a must!
- Current Police Check – required prior to commencement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for guest service.
- Availability to work on a rotating roster Tuesday to Sunday, with varied start times from 3:30pm onwards.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering exceptional service at every shift.
